Just found out an hour or so ago... they found his body in the river this morning...

[UPDATE 2:] Still no sign of Mr. Strobel. I guess they must think he's still alive because his wife was ok enough to say something to the local paper and the police scaled down searches Monday but started searching really hard again Tuesday. I'm praying that means they found something and think he's still alive. He's been missing 4 1/2 days and there were two big thunder storms in that area during that time. If he did fall in the river on Friday night now is when he'd start to float as horrible as it is to say that. Either way I hope they find him and give his family some sort of closure.

Right now I'm just really upset. I know it's odd because he wasn't like family or super close friends or anything but it's effected me really strongly. I've been talking to next to little of no one, I don't feel like doing art and I've cried more in the past 4 days then I remember crying all of last year (aka I rarely cry). It's so surreal to have some one you just saw a few weeks ago, some one who's kids you played with, some one who's wife you knew pretty well... just go missing.

I have enough photography article responses, if I feel up to it I may work on that today or tomorrow or sometime soon. I also got glaze for my clay so I can start working on more complex stuff soon as well. Please keep that family in your prayers. [END OF UPDATE 2]

Still no news at all, just still searching. There's big thunderstorms rolling through now and I'm just praying so hard they find him and that he's ok. I'm so worried about his wife and two kids. I can't imagine how horrid this must be for her to be going through

I'm crying right now and feeling sick to my stomach and I don't even know what to think. Some one my mother talked to Thursday morning and that I've met and I know his wife and two very little kids... He went missing yesterday evening.  I just saw him less than a month a go, big family man very sweet, loved his kids and wife. They were at a school function together on Friday night. Afterwards she went home and he went to hang with some friends for a few hours.

He never came home.

This morning they found his truck at the place where he'd gone, phone in the car and not a single sign of him at all. They don't know if he walked home, if he fell in the Illinois river and drowned, got kidnapped (few theories about this involving his brother's dealings) or if he just ran or something.

All of his friends are looking, no one knows what happened, no one thinks he ran because it's just not like him and...  I had to pause, I'm so upset I couldn't type.

I don't care who you are or what you believe but please, please, PLEASE pray for this man and his family. Pray that he is alive, please pray they find him, please pray he'll make it, please pray that his family will stay strong through this, please just pray.
